Solid Peruvian cuisine tucked away in Moorpark. It's a great option if you just finished playing golf at Rustic Canyon and want something to grab on the way back to the hotel (which is what I did). Esp during COVID times where you can't go sit down somewhere, this is a great option for takeaway. The only drawback is that the green cilantro sauce is super, super spicy. Otherwise, the lomo saltado dish that I had was really tasty - well cooked steak and the compliment of fries and veggies was spot on! Super friendly service made this a place I would gladly return to if I'm ever back in the area.
This is such a gem! I had the aji de gallina which was exactly what I wanted. I haven't found an authentic Peruvian place anywhere near my office in the valley so this was such a find. They have an awesome lunch menu with efficient service. I ended my meal with the homemade mini alfajores which were the best part! Still thinking about them!
This place is the bomb! Their cilantro chicken soup is SUPER GOOD!! I always get lomo saltado and it never disappoints.
My favorite is lomo saltado. Hands down the best lomo saltado! Will definitely be coming back for more!!
